RAAG MILAN TRUST is a non- profit cultural organisation established with an aim to promote Indian classical music. Based in Mysore , the cultural capital of Karnataka, RAAG MILAN was started in the year 1997 by the young and enthusiastic flautist Ravi Shankar Mishra.

Today, music is facing times of change, challenges and prospects with growing enthusiasm and spirit; for this reason Raag Milan was envisaged.

RAAG MILAN intends to promote our culture and carry on with our traditions so that our future generations will have a firm path to move forward. RAAG MILAN has
carved a niche for itself and has been organising concerts by great masters in Mysore regularly.

Great stalwarts and leading artists of Hindustani classical music have performed under the auspices of Raag Milan such as Legendary sitarist Padma Bhushan Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, Flute maestro Pt. Nityanand Haldipur ,Padma bhushan Dr. Prabha Atre, vocal,Sri Rupak Kulkarni ,bansuri ,senior disciple of Pt.Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Sri. Salil Bhatt,son of grammy award winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt satvik veena, Pt. Hara Shankar Bhattacharya, Indrajit baneejee, Sitar, Shankar Bhattcharya, sarod,Pt. Parameshwar Hegde, vocal.

RAAG MILAN is a non-profit organization striving to promote Hindustani music and intends to be an active interface between music and the artist. This is an opportunity to join hands with our organisation which has an influence and responsibility much richer than its relatively small size.

Strong networking, interpersonal and influencing skills are vital in this role in fashioning and implementing new partnerships and promoting music and the artists.
Our cultural partnership will work to strengthen the cultural activities by promoting Indian classical music in Mysore and hope to expand to other cities in India and abroad.
